It’s really happening, folks!  Sony and Marvel have reached a deal that will allow Spidey to appear in the MCU where he belongs.  Marvel’s Kevin Feige and Sony’s Amy Pascal will produce the new MCU Spider-Man movie, which is currently scheduled for July 28th, 2017.  Additionally, this opens the door for Spidey to appear in other MCU movies (is it too late to hope for Civil War?).

Now that your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is in the MCU, other planned movies have changed their release dates to make room for the webhead.  Thor: Ragnarok, originally scheduled for July 28th, 2017 now moves to November 3rd of the same year.  Black Panther moves to July 6, 2017, Inhumans moves to summer 2019, and Captain Marvel moves to November 2018.

This is absolutely fantastic news.  We couldn’t be more excited to finally see Spidey stand alongside the rest of the Avengers!
